CELEB SPOTTINGS: R&B SINGERS OUT & ABOUT [THE BRIT AWARDS!] ....

PERFORMANCES NOW ADDED: LEONA LEWIS, RIHANNA & AMY WINEHOUSE.

Kelly Rowland
attended The Brit Awards in London a couple of hours ago (Feb 20th). Here are a couple of pictures from backstage and when she appeared on stage:

I liked the black dress she was wearing but she looked stupid in the other outfit on the right. Is she not sick and tired of dressing up like a bird? Kelly appeared on stage to present Kanye West his Award for International Male Solo Artist. Kanye couldn't be there so via satellite he accepted his Award.

Rihanna arrived, and also performed her her monster hit Umbrella with The Klaxons:

She looked nice, but I wasn't really feeling her performance. She stood in one spot throughout though I'll admit, vocally she sounded good. This version was a lot more rock-heavy orientated. But I'll always prefer the original. Rihanna lost out to pop vixen Kylie Minogue for International Female Solo Artist. She got robbed! Kylie DID get the sympathy vote for her award which is why the Brit Awards loses all its credibility. What a way for Rihanna to celebrate her 20th birthday (which is TODAY officially).

Another artist who encountered a MASSIVE upset was Leona Lewis who walked away with not ONE single Brit Award, WTF?!?!?!?!

The Brit Awards is full of shit. How is Sharon Osbourne going to say Leona sold 2 million albums in 6 weeks and then she doesn't win any of her FOUR nominations? She was nominated for Best British Female, Best British Album, Best British Single and Best British Breakthrough Act. I was soooo convinced that she'd get the British Single Award. 'Bleeding Love' was no doubt the biggest British single of last year and it went to crappy Take That. I am soooo done. This is the Craig David controversy all over again. Performances are still not up yet but when they do become available, I'll update this post. NONE of the performances are really worth watching, but I'll put them up anyway. Watch this space.

LEONA LEWIS: BLEEDING LOVE

RIHANNA & KLAXONS: UMBRELLA

AMY WINEHOUSE: LOVE IS A LOOSING GAME
