JANET JACKSON'S PHOTOSHOOT FOR USA TODAY....

This week was an important week for Janet Jackson after it was revealed that she's secured the no 1 album in the country. Here is a brand new photoshoot that the singer did for USA Today:

I really like these cool and casual snaps. Also, if you go to Janet's Official Myspace, you will see that she posted a bulletin announcing that she will be holding a "giveaway" soon to celebrate the album's chart debut. Discipline is the singer's sixth no 1 album. The singer also announced that in support of Discipline, she'll be doing a World Tour this fall (mid-September) and that we can expect the show to be an energetic one:

"I'll probably tweak things from the last stage and stuff I had prepared for everyone".

"It'll be an uptempo, upbeat show. I would love to perform every single I've had, but that's a pretty long show. I don't want people to be bored to tears."

With the raging energy that Janet puts into her shows, I think it would be damn near impossible to get bored. I have her Velvet Rope and All For You concerts on DVD and can watch them over and over again. The adrenalin rush at her shows is simply amazing especially the segments when she pulls up a fella from the audience to do her sex-tease routines. Cracking stuff. In other news, her latest single Feedback will nab the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Hot Dance/Club Play chart for the week ending March 22, 2008. The chart positions will be officially announced next week. This type of chart is compiled a week in advance and therefore its positions are often known a few days before it is officially released by Billboard. Feedback becomes the 18th No. 1 song of Janet's career on the dance chart.
