Ne-yo is currently recording his third studio album and the new material is finally making its way. Closer is rumoured to be the latest new single off the 25-year-old's upcoming new album which is set for a Summer 2008 release. Check out the radio rip below:

It sounds like a Because of You reject to me, and needless to say I don't really like it. The upbeat poppy R&B joint is repetitive and sounds like everything else he's put out recently. I will most certainly say that it's a far cry from the masterful piece of art that was his debut - there is no denying that the man is talented and that his debut was a stunning effort but if this is what's in store for a summer comeback, he can take it right back.
