So it looks like it's official. Official Girl is definitely the lead single from Cassie's forthcoming new album. Here she is on the set of the new video where she is seen taking a break from filming:

We were all hoping that this wasn't going to be lead single as the beat is not infectious enough to instantly capture radio. Thirsty would have been a much better choice because the song is hot and it has that overall summer vibe that catches you. This song lacks just that. I hope the video is hot so she can compensate for it. Thanks to Diddy, I'll be expecting to see some Janet Jackson and Britney Spears in Cassie's latest transformation.
