Good to see Mariah actually wearing clothes for once and looking all cute and casual. I am pretty sure her acting skills have improved since the disaster that was Glitter. In fact, that movie was cheesier than a packet of dairylea. The acting was just horrible. Even I could have done a better job even being high on crack. However, I think I can sit through another Mariah movie, well, as long I'm not paying to watch it. I'm curious as to how much Mariah has evolved as an actress this time around.
Peep Mariah once again, atop of the Empire State Building, yesterday afternoon. The legendary NY building was made to shine in lavender, pink and white (the colour scheme of Mariah's new album E=MC²). This was all done in honour of Mariah, a native of New York as well her #1 album. Check out the glam star at the iconic event:

Mariah was certainly looking pink and pretty that day. This was after her disastrous performance on Good Morning America where she was rumbled for lip synching due to a glitch in her backing track. I certainly would not have wanted to be in that person's shoes whoever was responsible for that lil misshap. Mess with Mariah or her music and you become blacklisted, and many blogs have already faced the brunt of those repercussions. Island really did put in a high expense with this latest marketing scheme. Only Mariah gets this type of marketing. And, it IS Mariah we're talking about after all.
Earlier today, the MTV Australia Awards 2008 took place in Sydney, Australia. Many celebs flown in for the event and Leona Lewis was one of them:

She usually looks nice but something looked off about her today. I just can't put my finger on it yet. Leona also performed smash hit single 'Bleeding Love' at the event. Well, if you've seen one performance, you've seen them all right?

She was rocking a pink polka dot bandanna and a Marilyn Monroe t-shirt with a large gold-chained black Chanel purse. She certainly looked like a woman on a mission, but she looked cute in her chilled out moments.
