MARIAH CAREY PERFORMS 'BYE BYE' & 'THAT CHICK' ON T4....

A T4 Special aired earlier this morning where Mariah Carey had the whole UK pop show dedicated solely to herself. She performed THREE tracks off her new forthcoming album E=MC². They were Bye Bye, Touch My Body and That Chick. T4 is the very first time where her second single Bye Bye was performed (she is scheduled to perform the song on American Idol in two weeks time). I really love Bye Bye. It's definitely a nice track, having heard it in full, finally. The track is dedicated to her father and to those who lost a loved one. The performance wasn't a bad one but for the type of song that it was, I didn't hear her evoke enough emotion into the song. The vocals were the studio ones from beginning to end. I am beginning to think Mariah cannot belt out a live ballad anymore. For her next single Bye Bye, Mariah exclusively told Elvis Duran from NYC radio show Z100 that cornball actor Nick Cannon will play her love interest. Her performance of That Chick is after the cut.
