KELLY ROWLAND TALKS ABOUT NEW ALBUM....

Kelly is cooking up something "deeper" and more "inspiring" for her third studio album. It could be that she has some unexpected guest appearances in the works, who knows, but check out what she has to say about the forthcoming project, set for an early 2009 release: "I definitely want a new sound so I am jamming in the studio with amazing musicians who just love music," she told the Daily Star. "I've asked The Script to do a duet and The Guillemots have given me one of their tracks to listen to." She continued: "I would love to do something with them or Alphabeat, and Kate Nash is dope." Sounds like she's going for a more mainstream, alternative-type album with maybe lesser R&B input? That appears to be the trend these days to get an album to sell. Maybe she should just go to Tricky Strewart and The Dream and get them to carve out a smash for her instead, because if a new direction doesn't help Kelly flourish in her music career, nothing ever will - except for that Destiny's Child reunion, which appears to be the backup plan - for both Kelly AND Michelle.
