Britney Spears' brand new TV commercials for the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards debuted last night. In them, she is seen with this year's host Russell Brand and a massive elephant:


Cute. It seems she genuinely wants to promote herself this time and is taking her comeback seriously. Good for her. The show airs September 7th on MTV. The other commercial is after the cut.
