CELEB SPOTTINGS: R&B SINGERS OUT & ABOUT [NEW YEARS ACTION CONTINUES] ....

Over the past three days, celebrities have been celebrating the New Year like crazy. The celebrations continued on which saw Dreamgirls Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson perform and attend the Setai New Years Eve Celebration hosted by Dylan McDermott:

Hate the mushroom. Loved the outfit. And why does she always feel the need to blow kisses into the camera at every given opportunity? She is running her Marilyn Monroe inspiration into the ground and it's getting on my damn nerve. The singer and actress who has YET to release an album of fresh material was charging fans a staggering $1,000 each to watch her ring in the New Year at the event. The singer performed a slew of songs from her hit movie Dreamgirls. The same tired ass songs she has been singing at many of the parties she attended last year. Pull the other one Jen!

When Beyonce attended her fella Jay-Z's 40/40 opening on Sunday night, she actually performed a mini concert there as well:

Wow. She actually changes her outfits, wow! *sarcasm* Looks like Beyonce wasn't holding back on her Christmas grub either. The chick has been eating gooood. Her hips are almost as wide as London's bridge now, and with the added extra pounds she is looking the spitting image of her mama Tina. I hate the Diana Ross wig though. It looks hideous and nasty.

I didn't post the pictures of when R&B singers Mario and Kelis attended the event at Tao in Las Vegas in which Mariah Carey opened up the New Year, so here they were as guests:

Kelis was there with her extremely controversial hubby Nas. The rapper has been making headlines recently with his new album, its cover and the title as well.....

Strictly Come Dancing winner/ former Mis-teeq singer Alesha Dixon was spotted at the Kenza Restaurant in London with pals just before the New Year hit:

Many of you would remember the gorgeous Alesha from NERD's video She Likes To Move where she is dancing on the podium. I am really happy she won Strictly. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving person, because she totally rocked it. 2007 was a rotten year for Alesha. Not only did her husband MC Harvey cheat on her with pop singer Javine Hilton and got her pregnant, but she had a massive falling out with her brother over comments he made about her mom Beverley as well as the fact that she lost her record deal when her two singles Lipstick and Knockdown failed to make an impact. Alesha also admitted that loverat Harvey cheating on her made her suicidal. She should have hooked up with Pharrell back then. He DID have a soft spot for her after all. I hope 2008 is a better year for her.
