Ray J dated Irish (the lead singer) from that group as well so I am quite surprised to see him all cosied up towards her pal/former band member. His sister, R&B singer Brandy didn't attend which is quite shocking as they're pretty close.

This chick is so blah, and no matter what singles she puts out, her album was destined to flop. Wouldn't be surprised if her album got shelved. A lot of people lost their jobs because so much was staked on her becoming a massive solo star. Why would they even waste more time and money on her project when nobody is anticipating it?

Ashanti looked nice even with the weight gain. She will shoot the video for "The Way That I Love You" at the end of the month, according to LT Hutton. Ashanti's fourth album, "The Declaration", is scheduled to be released in April, same time as Mariah. Of course they won't be releasing on the same day though. Ashanti will no doubt get dragged through the mud.
