WORK IT GIRL! She looks good especially in that dress which was designed by fashion designer Tracey Reese. But I am sick and tired of the Tyra Banks hairdo. It seems to be the IN thing with all these R&B chicks lately. Beyonce rocked it last month after being spotted leaving a taco eatery in New York and Janet Jackson turned up at Benny Medina's birthday bash earlier this week rocking the same look. Oh and Toni Braxton as well. Check her out in this post. On the music front, Ashanti's latest new single 'The Way That I Love You' has already debuted on Urban & Rhythmic radio charts. The song will officially impact Urban radio, February 19th. Ashanti will also shoot the video for 'The Way That I Love You' in LA at an undisclosed location on February 7th. The single is now available on US iTunes. Part of the reason why Ashanti's project The Declaration keeps getting knock-backs is because of the poor reception of her previous singles. So if this new song of hers does well, we will finally get a video and an album release but you as the record buying consumers are the ones that can make it happen. She looks good. I look forwards to her new album. She spoke about her new album in a recent interview where she stated that she'll be going back to the old-skool sound which is her style. I hope she means old-skool as in Secrets oldskool. That album was a classic right along with her debut. I hated the street direction she went with on More Than A Woman. Her last album Libra was pretty good so I was surprised it didn't do that well. Toni is hoping to release the new album this summer. CLICK HERE to watch the interview.
