Shareefa is gearing up to release her sophomore album 'The Black Dahlia' which will see a release date later on in the year. The first single from the set is titled 'On Fire' which features rapper Jadakiss:

The beat is cool even if I've heard it before. The upbeat track could easily have been a Keyshia Cole/Mary J Blige joint as it embarks on a similar R&B sound with that Hip Hop edge. The musical style isn't that much different which doesn't really set Shareefa apart as an artist. But I feel Shareefa has a lot to offer to the fickle recording industry. She can definitely sing and deserves the same recognition to that of her peers.
