What is it with pop stars and the sudden urge to wear the frilly pom dress these days? I think I've seen that style a dozen to a million this month. Anyway, is the pop princess finally being claimed by her R&B prince Chris Brown? At his London Indigo O2 venue on Sunday night (23 March 2008), the 18-year-old heart throb hinted he was dating her with the following statement: "If I was the prince of R&B, then I would need a princess," and launching into a remix of Rihanna's hit single Umbrella. And another one bites the dust. As for last night's 'A Girl's Night Out' concert, the singer performed on stage for 40 minutes to an appreciated audience before heading upstairs to a private lounge area, where she did a meet-and-greet with children, signing autographs and taking pictures with them. For the cause, Rihanna is quoted as saying the following:
"When I was young and I would watch television and I would see all the children suffering, I always said when I grow up I want to help," she said by way of explaining why she started The Believe Foundation. "Not long after I was in the position where I could help. I started to visit all these children’s hospitals and I have a soft spot for kids. I just want to help and make sure they are happy. They can come to a Rihanna concert or have toys or gifts at Christmas."Rihanna doing what she does best. Making people happy and impacting on somebody's life. Let's not forget how she contributed to saving a woman's life earlier this month.
