LEONA LEWIS SCORES HER FIRST NO 1 ON THE HOT 100 BILLBOARD CHARTS WITH BLEEDING LOVE....

UPDATE: LEONA HAS BECOME THE FIRST BRITISH WOMAN TO TOP THE US CHART FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS WITH HER SINGLE 'BLEEDING LOVE'. KIM WILDE WAS THE LAST UK FEMALE TO TOP THE BILLBOARD HOT 100, WITH HER 1987 COVER VERSION OF THE SUPREMES HIT 'YOU KEEP ME HANGIN' ON'.

It's official. Leona Lewis is now a BONAFIDE INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTAR. The Londoner has knocked Usher's 'Love In This Club' off the no 1 spot on the US Hot 100 singles chart this week with her smash-hit single Bleeding Love.

Bleeding Love has seen nothing but incredible success over the last couple of months. When it was first released in the UK last October, it spent many weeks at no 1 and was the best selling single of all time putting her in the Guinness Book of Records. The singer has been wowing audiences on both sides of the Atlantic with her Mariah Carey-like vocals. I have to say that this is fantastic news and sure does make up for her huuuge Brit Awards snub last month. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving artist.
