Three acts all under the Def Jam Umbrella came together for this remix. The beat is completely different from the original. The first remix had the same beat as the original but The Dream was featured on it instead. Having listened again, I think this is solid but not overwhelming. Supposedly, this remix is all in a bid to help fuel the track into the urban playing field, of which Rick Ross is practically the prime choice right now for doing just that. In other news, Mariah has confirmed in a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest that Migrate will NOT be the 2nd single and that she will be releasing a ballad instead as to not mess up her usual formula.
