R&B songstress Ashanti graces the May 2008 issue of Sister 2 Sister magazine alongside her mother Tina Douglas and younger sister 19-year-old Kenashia:

The 27-year-old singer spoke about her record label (she is still signed to the Inc but did her album without them), the one-sided beef between herself and Ja Rule, and what can be expected from the new album. An interesting tidbit rom the interview: When Foolish came out, she wasn't even signed yet. And she is still dodging questions about her relationship with rapper Nelly. Ashanti's forthcoming album The Declaration is set for a June 3rd release and she's worked with Robin Thicke, Jermaine Dupri, LT Hutton, Babyface, and Pharrell Williams who are among the album's producers.
