BEYONCE & JAY-Z FINALLY GOT MARRIED....

PEOPLE have just reported that Beyonce and her rapper fiance Jay-Z DID in fact exchange marriage nuptials last night. Although there hasn't been any official confirmation, a friend of the couple reveals: "It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair - close friends and family".

The wedding took place in a private ceremony in New York City yesterday. The ceremony was followed by a lavish party at the rapper's Tribeca apartment. The close friends and family in attendance included Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Matthew Knowles, her sister Solange, her cousin Angela Beyince, her Destiny's Child pals Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple's friend Gwyneth Paltrow. I've posted a couple of pictures after the cut that led up to the event. I am astonished, really. They went and made it official - FINALLY. When they took out their marriage licence on Tuesday, it wasn't an April Fools joke as everyone had believed. They were doing it for real. I didn't think they'd have lasted as long as they had (they've been dating from 2002). I guess they truly do love each other and wanted to make the commitment. Congrats to them. I personally think she's pregnant but only time will tell. Oh, and get this. They have matching tattoo's on their wedding fingers (number 4 in Roman numerals). The numbers indicate that they were both born on the 4th (some say it means forever). They chose to get married on the 4th.

Preparations were clearly underway for a wedding as men coming out of a van were spotted delivering flowers and tents at the rappers NYC apartment yesterday:

Beyonce's sister, Solange was spotted leaving Beyonce's apartment in a white dress to go to Beyonce and Jay Z's wedding:



Beyonce's father, Matthew Knowles was also seen leaving Beyonce's apartment to go to the site of the wedding as well as Kelly and Michelle. I am cracking up. Look at his face. It's as if he's come to the realisation that Beyonce is no longer his lil girl.
