MARIAH PERORMS 'FLY LIKE A BIRD' ON IDOL GIVES BACK // FERGIE PERFORMS 'FINALLY'....

Check out Mariah Carey's amazing performance on Idol Gives Back which aired last night. She performed Fly Like A Bird with an accompanying choir, from her last album the multi-platinum The Emancipation of Mimi:


After a run of poor vocal performances over the last few weeks, Mariah absolutely nailed it. I guess she saw this as the big opportunity not to mess up and took it there wholeheartedly, and she was totally feeling it too. The voice is definitely back. Go Mimi! On American Idol next week, she'll also perform her second single, the Stargate-produced ballad Bye Bye. Only one more week to go before her new album drops.

Fergie also performed her new track Finally, with John Legend on piano:

This was another good performance vocally. I liked it. I still have no idea when the video premieres. I don't think Fergie is going to stop until she releases every song off her album The Dutchess. Didn't she release it the same year Beyonce released B'Day, Justin's FutureSex/LoveSounds and Ciara's The Evolution? She is definitely milking that album for all its worth.
