ASHANTI PERFORMS ON 'GOOD MORNING AMERICA'.....

Ashanti has been EVERYWHERE this week doing promotion for her new album The Declaration. As part of their Summer Concert Series, Ashanti performed earlier today on 'Good Morning America'. Here's her performance of 'The Way That I Love You':


The military intro at the beginning was cute. I enjoyed her performance so much, mainly because she wasn't yelling throughout 99% of the song. Her vocals were calm and steady. In fact, this is the best ever performance of this song I have seen so far. This girl is trying so damn hard and for that alone, I WILL be buying her album when it gets released in the UK on Monday. My only problem with Ashanti is that she doesn't have the right shape (or legs) to pull off the all in one short-pant outfits that she's been rocking as of late. She also performed her very first smash hit Foolish and Always On Time, where Ja Rule joined her on stage. Both of those can be watched after the fold. It's good that they've finally squashed their beef, although in an interview recently, Ashanti says it a was one-sided beef.
