CELEB SPOTTINGS: R&B SINGERS OUT & ABOUT....

For their third annual celebration of Love Day, Cartier, the French jeweler has partnered with eight musically gifted celebrities and Janet Jackson was one of those celebrities:

Janet looked really trendy that night. Other R&B singers who attended included Ashanti and Fergie. Each celebrity is linked to the charity of his or her choice, and for each sale of a Love Charity bracelet, a portion goes to the charity. The bracelets are made of silk cord with a gold fob and each color corresponds to the particular cause. Janet's gunmetal bracelet is for the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance.

Fergie, who was one of the chosen eight put in an appearance at the prestigious event:

It's very rare I say this about Fergie but she looked fantastic. I am feeling her whole getup from head to toe.

I couldn't say the same about Ashanti though:

Her look, hmmmm....

Rihanna was spotted yesterday rocking two different outfits while out and about in New York City:

That last dress is hot. I guess this compensates for her recent fashion disasters as of late. Anyone notice that during her promotion of Good Girl Gone Bad, Chris Brown is nowhere to be seen? Those stories about Rihanna's people banning their relationship whilst Rihanna promotes really must be true.

Alicia Keys wrapped up her 'As I Am' tour last night at the Madison Sqaure Garden in New York City:

Maybe we won't be seeing those ridiculously tight yeast-influenced outfits in a long time. I hope so. I hated her stage outfits. But her shows were on fire. I really hope it comes to DVD really soon.

The singer and her mother, Terri Augello also held an exclusive 'As I Am' wrap party held at The Park in New York City last night:

Oh, and Diddy's mama Janice Combs attended as well. Seriously, who invites this woman to events? She is always looking a hot ass mess. With Diddy's money, you'd think this woman would make more of an effort.

Other R&B acts that attended included Ne-yo (Alicia's support act), John Legend and Estelle:

Ne-yo continues to parade his chick around. Can't believe Alicia's tour is finally over. And her new video for 'Superwoman' is set to premiere before the end of the month.
