She says: "Ignorance is not bliss when it comes to HIV infection, and it is important for everyone to know their HIV status. The quicker you know your status, the sooner you can receive treatment if you're HIV+, and reduce the risk of inadvertently infecting future partners." I really admire Kelly. Good for her. People act like you can catch it by touching or sitting on the same chair. It's just another unfortunate disease where people can still live normal lives but struggle to do so due to the discrimination surrounding it.
