R&B singers Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson both co-star in the upcoming movie 'The Life of Bee's'. Check out the trailer below:
Alongside the impressive star-studded cast are talented actresses such as the young Dakota Fanning and Queen Latifah. The movie is an adaption from Sue Monk Kidd's 2002 critically acclaimed novel 'The Secret Life of Bees'. It is centered around a young girl (Dakota Fanning) whose mother was killed. Her stand-in-black-mother (Jennifer Hudson) stands up to the racist white folks in their town which lands her a stint in jail. The young girl frees her black mother and they do a runner to a town called Tiburon located in South Carolina.
The town apparently is the key that holds the secret to her real mother's past. The girl and stand-in-mother are taken in by a trio of black beekeeping sisters where she is introduced to their extraordinary lifestyle of bees and honey, and the Black Madonna. Not just for Alicia and Jennifer but the actual movie as well.
