702 SISTERS LOSES THEIR TWIN SISTER TO CANCER....

Remember that kick-ass group 702 from the 90's when they hit the scene with blazing tracks such as Steelo and Where My Girls At? 702 was my group back then. I loved them. Their last album Star was seriously slept on. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but according to LSA, Irish, (who briefly dated Ray-J) and is pictured far right and her sister Misha (middle), has lost her twin sister Orish to cancer. Orish passed away on Sunday (April 20th).

It is reported that Orish (who was a 4th member of 702 but pulled out before the group blew up) had a kidney replacement and for a while it worked but then, she needed to have another. Orish also stepped in during their tour when sister Misha went on maternity leave. It's also been noted that the doctors hadn't even begun to treat the cancer, and basically she was suffering from one illness after another. Orish has been sick from childhood and was 27-years-old. Wow so sad. She was soooo young. My condolences and prayers go out to Irish, Misha and the whole family. I've enclosed some of my favourite 702 jams after the cut.

702 WAS FEATURED ON SUBWAY'S SINGLE 'THIS LIL GAME WE PLAY' AND ORISH WAS WITH THE GROUP AT TIME AND APPEARS IN THE VIDEO:

Kameelah (the dark skinned chick) was not an original member so she doesn't appear in the video. The other chick was supposedly a cousin of theirs.

Here's a pic of Orish capped from the video for those that couldn't make her out in the video.

Pretty girl. :(
