ALICIA KEYS ON THE SET OF 'TEENAGE LOVE AFFAIR' // ALICIA ON THE 'TODAY' SHOW [INTERVIEW & PERFORMANCES INCLUDED]....

Earlier today, Alicia Keys performed on the Today Show and performed two tracks from her nearly 4-times platinum selling album As I Am. She performed 'No One' and 'Teenage Love Affair'.



Wowserrrssss! Alicia was looking like a baked potato unwrapped from it's foil. I've never seen her look so ----- BLACK! Can we say one helluva tan? On the show, she said a bit about the Lena Horne role she was offered by Oprah as well as the controversial 'Gangster Rap' comments. She briefly commented about how her statements were misinterpreted and that she no longer wants to pay attention to it anymore since there are more important things to focus on. They also showed a small preview of her new video Teenage Love Affair which she says was inspired by the Spike Lee movie School Daze. The video is scheduled to premiere this coming Wednesday (April 23rd). Can't wait. As for the performances she sounded awesome and did an amazing job on both songs. I'm kind of bored with No One because I've seen her perform it soooo many times now but her performance of Teenage Love Affair was flawless. Loved it. As previously reported, Ne-yo and Jordin Sparks will be supporting Alicia on her US As I Am tour, but sadly Jordin may have to pull out during the remainder of those shows. Unfortunately, she's been struck down with "an acute vocal cord hemorrhage," according to officials, and it can be very severe if she continues to belt out her lungs on top of an infection. This is really sad and I hope she gets the proper treatment and not feel propelled to go on tour because health comes first more than anything. I wish her all the best on that.
