R&B SINGERS OUT & ABOUT: CHRIS BROWN & NE-YO AT YESTERDAY'S WRIGLEY'S GUM LAUNCH.....

As I reported yesterday, Chris Brown and Ne-yo are the latest contemporary artists to be chosen by Wrigley's to remix its signature gum jingles. The two of them shut down the rumours that they're feuding by appearing together at yesterday's Wrigley's launch in NYC to help promote the brand. Chris's latest single 'Forever' will be used in an ad for Wrigley's Doublemint gum. It seems Chris sealed this deal many months ago as sharp-eared CB fans may have noticed a brief reference to an old chewing-gum jingle buried in Forever, which has now become a top-10 hit. "Double your pleasure/double your fun," is a Wrigley's reference which Chris can be heard crooning in the chorus. Interesting.....

The R&B duo have partnered with Wrigley's gum to update the traditional Wrigley's gum "jingles" for Doublemint®, Juicy Fruit® and Big Red®, where they held a private concert to celebrate the launch of the remade tunes. Chris and Ne-yo performed some of their catchy hit records as well as their new jingles. The concert took place at the Nokia Theater in NYC, which was attended by Jay-Z, Akon, and Danity Kane's Dawn Richards.
