I am loving the sultry mood of the song which is neatly glistened over by a rhythmic piano production. The uniquely-divine raspy tone that is Brandy's vocal prowess just adds to the song's greatness. The song is on that classical old-skool Brandy reflex. I'm going to say she's definitely setting the standard for music right now. I have no idea who produced the song but all I know is that Brandy is impressing me big! It would be all sorts of tragic if this song doesn't make the final cut of 'Human', and even more tragic if this is just a floating song taken from previous recording sessions. As it goes without saying, you just don't understand how psyched up I am about Brandy and Darkchild pairing up again. Remember, the classic 1998 album 'Never Say Never' came out of their sparkling partnership and chemistry. And it sounds like Human could be on par with it but I don't want to speak too soon just yet. When Brandy and Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins go into the studio, they go RAW! They don't just cook up a measly burger in the kitchen but they dish out the most tasty, scrumptious, mouth-watering mean ass steak you can imagine. I was crushed at their fallout previously so making up and going into the studio together once again was the most gratifying of circumstances. With songs like 'Porcelain Doll', 'Fall', 'Throw It All Away', 'First & Love' and lead single 'Right Here (Departed)' getting heavy rotation on the Zen player, Nov 11th seems like a century away. And speaking of Right Here Departed, the video is expected to get it's official premiere via Access Granted on September 5th.
