I was kind of dreading Fantasia's performance of 'Lady Marmalade' but it was pretty enjoyable. You know homegirl can get carried away with the histrionics and horrible cat screeching. I would loved to have seen more of Jennifer's performance of 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' because I just know she rocked the hell out of that performance in its entirety. The tribute will air stateside on January 24th and 25th, 2009 on BET and WGN.

American Idol chicks Fantasia Barrino & Jennifer Hudson tributed Patti LaBelle recently by performing 'Lady Marmalade' and 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow'. The performances took place at the 30th Anniversary - 'An Evening Of Stars' ceremony:
