You can tie a string to a bone and teasingly move it away as the dog chases after it but the further you move the bone away, the closer the dog gets to it. No matter how many times Keri Hilson's label pushes back her album, it appears we're steps closer to having a full selection of her songs. At this rate, there will be nothing left to put out. As reported previously, Keri's debut album 'In A Perfect World' has a brand new release date of Nov 4th, and yet another track from the project has leaked - a track called 'Shake It Like A Dawg'.....
The track is a collaboration with R&B giant R. Kelly and was produced by Polow Da Don. It weirdly starts off with R. Kelly's dog barks (which is very fitting in deed since we know R. Kelly truly is a dog) as Keri sexually lures him over (just no) before the track opens into a hard-hitting club stomper. The beat knocks quite hard and after a few listens, the track is addictively punchy. Along with the street-savvy uptempo, Keri rides it a long with cheeky metaphorical lyrics. Hmmmmm, didn't R&B singer Mya record this already as part of her recording sessions for the ill-fated album 'Liberation'?
