Ne-yo who also performed his single on the same day also warned songwriters like Keri the hardship of going from background songwriter to forefront singer. He should know as he too started out as a songwriter before becoming a spotlight singer. Timbaland, Ryan Leslie, Sean Garrett and The Dream have all recorded albums after working in the background to produce and write for others. At the moment, all is not going well for Keri's forthcoming project 'In A Perfect World' as 70% of her album has leaked and it has been pushed back on a number of occasions. Keri who has worked on the new forthcoming Britney Spears album 'Circus' (Dec 2nd) and Britney's last one 'Blackout' already has a secured career as a songwriter and background singer. So even if her album ends up getting shelved, I don't think she has anything to worry about at all as she's still making serious paper regardless. Anyway, Keri has completed shooting the video for Chris Brown's next single 'Superhuman' and she'll be shooting another video of her own soon after (Let's hope it's for 'Do It').
