Mariah Carey: Touch My Body
Due to the elimination of TWO extremely popular music blogs today, there will be no download links to the song. So far, 3 blogs have been eliminated today. It's madness, all because of one Mariah track. However, I'll post my thoughts shortly. But I'd like to hear yours. What do you think?
MY THOUGHTS:
The track is pretty generic. Nice beat but a very generic R&B song. And don't even get me started on the lyrics! It is not overwhelming enough to become a first lead single. I'm not saying I dislike the song but I was expecting something extremely powerful that beats you in the face. When I posted how a dickie bird revealed the song to have a 'Shake It Off' type feel last week, they were not joking. It's midtempo and 'plain' Mariah really. I don't want plain. I want stunning. Mariah could have come a lot harder than this but we'll see how it all pans out.
