A brand new Keri Hilson song leaked last night. The song is called 'Mic Check' and will appear on her forthcoming album 'In A Perfect World', set for an October 7th release. The song features the latest R&B contaminator Akon



The hardhitting R&B cut is pretty infectious and despite the annoyance that's become Akon lately, the song is actually very good.

I instantly knew from the jump that it was a Timbaland production because it has that trademark sound that instantly alerts you. Of course, Keri's voice is on point.

Without a doubt, this track is certainly worth checking out. I just hope that this release date actually sticks this time because we truly are missing out on some hot music.
