Conceptually, the video was VERY powerful. Beyonce was putting herself in the shoes of a MAN giving the fella's food for thought as to how they would feel if their girlfriends acted in a way that was deemed acceptable for a man but not acceptable for a woman. The message in the song was wonderfully executed in the video. To me, it was fantastic, especially that confrontation scene. And the guy is mad cute as well. Some people may find it a boring video because it's not your typical vibrant Beyonce video with the big choreography and sexy outfits but it was everything I expected. It's a ballad, so I wasn't expecting some massive, eye-catching visual. She's reserving that for her next video 'Single Ladies' which is expected to premiere next week Monday (Oct 13th). Both singles are taken from Beyonce's third solo album 'I Am', which is scheduled to drop on Nov 18th.
